Craft And Friendship For Everyone – CAFFE
CAFFE craft group is where people gather to share their creative interests and skills in an informal, friendly atmosphere. We learn new skills from each other, and hold classes. We also knit and sew items to donate to charities, ie: baby beanies for Mater Mothers. We meet in the church hall the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of the month, 9.00-11.30 am. Open to everyone, regardless of their craft interest or degree of skill. For more information Email: email@example.com
Leisure Blokes is a men’s group which meets for coffee and a chat on Thursday afternoons. On one Thursday night of each month they meet at 6pm to share a meal at a local venue. Please contact us for more details and venues.
Car Boot Markets
Every two months, on a Saturday morning, we hold a car boot market and giant garage sale. It’s friendly, busy time where many people come to browse and buy, enjoy devonshire morning tea (or the sausage sizzle) and the live music, and catch up with friends. We have a cake stall, videos and books, lots of clothing -8 for $2, and bric-a-brac. We welcome site bookings ($10, and we provide a table if you wish). Donations of household goods, including furniture, are appreciated. Please contact us if you’d like to know more.
Our op shop is run by volunteers and is open Mon, Wed, Fri 9am to 1pm. We have clothes, books, toys, bric-a-brac and more! NOW on facebook, give us a like or review.
Windows on Mission
On any fifth Sunday of a month, we hold a fellowship lunch with a focus on an area of Christian outreach, from local initiatives to overseas. Guest speakers, videos and discussions feature in these interesting afternoons, which always leave people with something to think about.
We have a group of wonderful cooks and servers who undertake catering for various church and community functions.
